Week 3 - Lecture

There was a big focus on sustainability in this week’s lecture. Sustainability is an ever increasing topic in today’s society, and it is a term that can often be misused. From last week’s design charette, sustainability was definitely an aspect that was missed within our future visions. It was interesting to note how much space was needed per person to live sustainably within the world. This information would definitely be valuable to people within the regional theme as they are striving to be 100% self sufficient. This also proves that to be 100% self sufficient is basically impossible within such a small community.
