Week 10 - Building Program

I have summarised all the programs that I am hoping to include into my building for the future of Paddington. I believe it is a cohesive program where each aspect benefits another. I believe these are a realistic and pragmatic expectation for my design.

With the amount of commerce and entertainment going on in Paddington, the number of these spaces seem to separate any community engagement. whilst I am still focusing on the decentralisation of an urban city, I am somewhat straying away from the focus of a virtual retail district. It is an unavoidable fact that digital retail will increase in the future, and I propose that retail theatre will be an exciting, physical alternative to this. I also believe that my program will engage community interactivity and we will see the progression of the three main core types of retail theatre (Expression, Exploration, Discovery) and this will not only develop the building overtime, but also further develop Paddington as a community.
